Concern Foundation 2026 Returns to Paramount Studios July 11 for Safari Block Party

Join 4,000 guests, 70+ restaurants, and three music stages for an unforgettable night at Concern Foundation’s 51st Block Party, July 11.

Picture this: 4,000 people, three live music stages, and 70 of L.A.’s best restaurants spread across the actual Paramount Studios backlot in Hollywood. That’s not a fantasy, it’s Saturday, July 11, from 6 to 11 PM, and it’s Concern Foundation’s 51st Annual Block Party, one of the most genuinely joyful nights L.A. throws every summer. The theme this year is “Concern on Safari: Lions, Tigers & Cures,” and honestly, it might be the most fun a fundraiser has ever looked.

Concern Foundation 's Safari Block Party Returns to Paramount

A Safari Worth Celebrating

Fifty-one years in, Concern Foundation’s safari is a perfect reason to honor someone who’s spent decades making it happen. Co-founder and Board Chair Jackie Gottlieb is being awarded the Steve R. Freed Spirit of Concern Volunteer Leadership Award, and there’s something wonderful about celebrating five decades of quiet, dedicated work with a night this loud and colorful.

A Feast Built for Wandering

Bring your appetite and your sense of adventure:  Fogo de Chão and STK Steakhouse sit comfortably alongside Pink’s Famous Hot Dogs, so whether you want fire-grilled elegance or a classic L.A. chili dog, you’re covered. The drinks list reads like a passport stamp collection: Hendrick’s Gin, Yamazakura Japanese Whiskey, and Still Moon Moonshine all pouring within steps of each other. And save room: Pietro’s Favorite Lemon Ice and DeLuscious Cookies & Milk are the kind of desserts L.A. foodies already chase down on their own, now all in one place for one very good cause.

A Backlot That Opens Its Doors Once a Year

Paramount Studios doesn’t let 4,000 outside guests roam its working backlot often, which makes this one of the rarer, more exciting access points into Hollywood’s history that the general public actually gets to enjoy. It’s part theme park, part movie magic, part block party — and entirely worth the trip.

FAQ

Tickets are on sale now for the July 11, 2026 event via the Concern Foundation’s official ticketing page.

What does my ticket actually support?

Every dollar goes toward funding cancer research in immunology, immunotherapy, genetics, and cell biology, with a focus on supporting promising young post-doctoral scientists.
