Teremana Tequila ‘s Guac on the Rock is back for Cinco De Mayo. Order a Teremana cocktail and get up to $10 back on any appetizer. Now available at retail too.
There are few things better than showing up to a bar, ordering a round of margaritas, and watching a plate of guacamole land on the table without anyone reaching for the check.
For the sixth year running, Teremana Tequila is making that happen; and in 2026, the brand’s beloved “Guac on the Rock” program is longer, broader, and more generous than it’s ever been.

From April 1 through May 31, Teremana is reimbursing up to $10 on any appetizer when you order a Teremana cocktail at participating bars and restaurants nationwide. That’s two full months of reasons to gather, order another round, and let someone else cover the chips.
How It Works
The mechanics are straightforward. Order any Teremana cocktail at a participating bar or restaurant, make sure your appetizer appears on the same itemized receipt, and upload it at guacontherock.com. Once approved, up to $10 comes back to you directly via Venmo. Receipts must be submitted by June 21, 2026.
The program is capped at $1 million in total reimbursements nationwide, spread across more than 60 days of the campaign — so there’s no reason to wait until the last week of May to participate. Use the restaurant locator at guacontherock.com to find participating spots near you.
Participants must be 21 or older and US residents. Rules vary by state, so it’s worth checking the site for eligibility in your market before you go.
For the First Time, You Can Bring It Home
This year’s biggest change is the retail expansion. For the first time in the program’s six-year history, “Guac on the Rock” goes beyond bars and restaurants. Purchase a 750ml or larger bottle of Teremana and a margarita mixer at an off-premise retailer: a liquor store, grocery store, or bottle shop, and you can claim the same $10 reimbursement at guacontherock.com.
That makes this the first year you can run the whole program from your own kitchen. Grab a bottle of Teremana Blanco, a good margarita mixer, and whatever you’re putting out for the table — queso, shrimp cocktail, a proper guacamole — and the rebate applies just the same.
The Tequila Behind the Program
Teremana is produced at Destilería Teremana de Agave in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, under NOM 1613. The brand offers three expressions: Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo, each made from 100% fully mature Blue Weber agave, slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens and distilled in handmade copper pot stills.
The Blanco is the workhorse for cocktail applications — clean and agave-forward, with enough brightness to hold up against fresh lime and good triple sec without disappearing into the glass. Build a classic margarita: two ounces Teremana Blanco, one ounce triple sec, three-quarters ounce fresh lime juice, shaken hard over ice and served with a salted rim. Pair it with guacamole that has real acidity — good lime juice, fresh jalapeño, a little white onion — and the combination lands exactly where it should.
If you’re leaning toward something to sip alongside food rather than shake into a cocktail, the Reposado picks up a soft vanilla warmth from its time in American white oak. It’s rounder than the Blanco and pairs well with anything that has a little richness — queso fundido, carnitas, a cheese board built for a crowd.
Six Years of Showing Up
“Guac on the Rock” started in 2021 as a direct thank-you to the bars, restaurants, bartenders, and servers who kept their communities going through a difficult stretch. It has returned every year since, and this year’s two-month run is the longest the program has ever had.
“Six years ago, Guac on the Rock started as a thank you,”
Dwayne Johnson
Teremana Founder
“In 2026, we’re extending it to the longest run we’ve ever had, because the mission is bigger than one holiday. It’s about creating more moments for people to gather around the table, raise a glass together, enjoy delicious cocktails, and support the places that bring neighborhoods to life.”
With up to $1 million in appetizers on the table between now and May 31, there’s never been a better time to make a reservation, call some friends, and let Teremana pick up the first round of guac.
