The wines, sourced from Israel’s most celebrated vineyards stretching from the volcanic soils of the Golan Heights to the sun-baked expanse of the Negev Desert, offer not only impeccable flavor but a deep connection to heritage.

“There is something profoundly special about celebrating Rosh Hashanah with wines from Israel,”

Gabriel Geller

Director of Public Relations & Manager of Wine Education at Royal Wine Corp

“They come from the very land where our traditions began. Beyond their spiritual resonance, these wines are now recognized internationally for their quality, character, and complexity.”

Israeli Wines Steal the Spotlight for Rosh Hashanah 2025

Royal Wine Corp.’s Israeli portfolio for 2025 reads like a connoisseur’s dream. Each winery brings its own terroir-driven personality to the table.

Odem Mountain Winery, Israel’s northernmost producer, continues to win awards for its Golan Heights vintages, while Pinto Winery, the southernmost, is redefining Negev Desert winemaking with bold, elegant creations by New York-born winemaker Ya’acov Oryah.

The prestigious Or Haganuz – Orot Petit Verdot offers intense flavor and balance at a $75 price point, while Chateau Golan’s Naveh Label delivers kosher versions of its respected Grenache Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon for $55–$95.

Meanwhile, Kamisa Winery, led by Yehuda Kamisa, offers expressive wines ranging from $25 to $235, including the luxurious Pi Blanc dessert wine at $65.

Israel’s heritage brands like Carmel, Zion, Psagot, Shiloh, and Domaine du Castel showcase a remarkable range of styles. Among them, Shiloh Winery has unveiled new vintages of its Legend Series—Adino, Ittai, and Ira—honoring biblical “Heroes of David” with blends that evoke both history and craftsmanship.

Expanding the Global Kosher Wine Map

While Israeli wines are the headliners, Royal Wine Corp. is also curating standout offerings from California, France, and Italy, demonstrating that premium kosher wines span the globe.

In Italy, family-owned estates such as Terra di Seta and Cantina Giuliano lead the way with wines priced between $15 and $100. Major producers like Rocca delle Macie (Chianti Classico, $25) and Negretti Cascina Minot (Langhe Nebbiolo, $35) are joining the kosher movement. A fresh arrival for 2025, the Lovatelli Gavi ($20), brings a crisp, dry profile to summer tables.

In California, the Herzog family’s Herzog Wine Cellars continues to impress with offerings from the approachable $10 Baron Herzog Chenin Blanc to the $200–$300 flagship Yesod line. Boutique producers like Covenant, Marciano Estate, and Hagafen Cellars add variety, while newcomer Capio Wines offers limited-edition Chardonnay, Petita Petite Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Sauvignon crafted by celebrated Napa winemaker Russell Bevan.

From France, Royal’s portfolio covers everything from value-driven J. de Villebois Pinot Noir ($25) to Burgundy’s first kosher line from Arnaud Baillot ($60–$150). A special highlight is the collaboration between Vera Wang and Château Roubine, resulting in two organic, kosher rosé wines—Côtes-de-Provence ($25) and IGP Méditerranée ($22)—that marry Provence excellence with high-fashion sensibility.

A Cultural Connector

Wine plays a central role in Rosh Hashanah, not just as a festive pairing but as a symbol of hope and joy for the year ahead.

“No matter your traditions, wine has a way of bringing people together,”

Geller

This sentiment resonates globally, especially in cosmopolitan cities where Jewish communities blend ancient customs with modern tastes.

For upscale wine enthusiasts, the 2025 selections represent more than luxury drinking. They are an invitation to explore the richness of kosher wine culture, to discover unexpected terroirs, and to savor the innovation that is shaping the industry.

Royal Wine Corp. has once again proved that premium kosher wines can stand alongside the best in the world, making this Rosh Hashanah a celebration not just of tradition but of craftsmanship and taste.

A Toast to Tradition and Innovation

From the volcanic hills of the Golan Heights to the chic cellars of Napa and the sun-soaked vineyards of Tuscany, Royal Wine Corp.’s Rosh Hashanah 2025 portfolio offers something extraordinary for every palate. Whether enjoyed at an intimate family gathering in Miami Beach or a grand celebration in Berlin, these wines promise to elevate the holiday with flavor, elegance, and meaning. Raise a glass to joy, blessing, and the promise of a sweet new year.
