Oscars 2022: Samuel L. Jackson, Shawn Mendes, Tyler Perry added to on 94th Oscars Celebration March 27

Oscar winners, nominees and newcomers Samuel L. Jackson, Shawn Mendes, Tyler Perry added to on 94th Oscars Celebration March 27

Show producers Will Packer and Shayla Cowan today announced additional presenters for the 94th Oscars®.

The star lineup includes Halle Bailey, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jamie Lee Curtis, Woody Harrelson, Samuel L. Jackson, Shawn Mendes, Tyler Perry and Tracee Ellis Ross.  The Oscars will air live on ABC and broadcast outlets worldwide on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. PDT.

Previously announced Oscars presenters include Ruth E. Carter, Kevin Costner, Anthony Hopkins, Lily James, Daniel Kaluuya, Zoë Kravitz, Mila Kunis, Lady Gaga, John Leguizamo, Simu Liu, Rami Malek, Lupita Nyong’o, Rosie Perez, Chris Rock, Naomi Scott, Wesley Snipes, Uma Thurman, John Travolta and Yuh-Jung Youn.  The producers will continue to announce talent joining the show in the coming weeks.

Recent winners return!

Rami Malek (Best Actor, Bohemian Rhapsody), Lupita Nyong’o (Best Supporting Actress, 12 Years A Slave) join Halle Berry who won for her work in Monster’s Ball.  Samuel L. Jackson is a previous nominee for Pulp Fiction.

Jackson along with Uma Thurman and John Travolta, starred in Oscar-winning Pulp Fiction.

Kevin Costner was a big Oscar winner years ago for Dances With Wolves, which dominated that night.

As was Anthony Hopkins a winner on Oscar night for his horrific turn as Hannibal Lecter in multi-Oscar winning Silence of the Lambs.

It’s a great time for Zoë Kravitz who is currently starring as Catwoman in mega-hit The Batman.

The 94th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Dolby® Theatre at Hollywood & Highland® in Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC at 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. PDT and in more than 200 territories worldwide.
