HUGH PEEPLE and SOVORY both delivered stellar performances at the Hotel Ziggy to celebrate Oscar weekend
As Oscar weekend descended on Los Angeles after scores of movie screenings, the entertainment industry had a much needed huge boost with a blast of stellar music from HUGH PEEPLE, a collective of world class musicians at the famed Hotel Ziggy on the Sunset Strip.
HUGH PEEPLE are already a huge favorite for local music fans having performed packed out shows at the Hotel Ziggy for the last year.

The band is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Nathan Cowles, who has put together a force of musical talent that have years of experience between them playing with legends such as Prince, The Rolling Stones, Madonna and Black Grape.
Cowles lineup consists of the dynamic vocalist Niecey Robinson, who also performs lead vocals on the bulk of the recordings of their debut album “What Do You Mean Hugh Peeple”—backed by a rhythm section that includes Danny Saber (multi-instrumentalist), Levi Seacer (bass / Prince), Morgan Day (guitar), and Seacer’s son Michael Seacer on drums, plus the firepower of horn masters Joe Herrera and Elijah Balbed.


Their fusing of traditional instrumentation and electronica has translated into dynamic performances—complete with a fully integrated dance crew led by the talented married choreographers J-Bad and Bridget Rios.

As always the audience was blown away by the musicians electric performance, pitch perfect vocals from Cowles and Robinson and danced into the night.

SOVORY, opened the show with his haunting vocals mesmerized the audience as he sang a selection from his self-titled debut album.
