There’s A Giant Kentucky Derby Party Happening In Downtown

Plus a new chef in Santa Monica, and eggs in Orange County. Party with the ponies!!!

Neal and Amy Knoll Fraser’s gorgeous Redbird restaurant is hosting a blowout Kentucky Derby party in Downtown next month. The May 5 session will include appropriate hatwear, a live bluegrass band, and a viewing space right out in the restaurant’s large garden. Of course, chef Neal will also be doing up a special menu for the night, with tickets going for $40 a head.

Bar director Tobin Shea has also revamped the restaurant’s entire cocktail collection to match the theme, offering a new collection of drinks under the Triple Crown moniker that are meant to tell the history of horse racing over time. That menu is available now, and runs through mid-July.

Elizabeth Delphin
Elizabeth Delphin loves a good time! A fun concert, a good dinner out with friends, those weird artsy-fartsy festivals. If she's not at the office or at home, she's likely walking her dog Milo at Runyon Canyon (seriously, sometimes she goes 2-3 times a day).
