Four Top LA Dining Destinations Prepare Thanksgiving Festive Feasts

Los Angeles foodies truly have plenty to be thankful for this holiday season with such delicious Thanksgiving menus all around town.

Georgia’s Restaurant

Thanksgiving is all about spending time with family and friends, so this year let family-owned Georgia’s Restaurant at the Long Beach Exchange and the Anaheim Packing House bring the Best of the South to the table and Pre-Order Georgia’s Thanksgiving Soulful Sides.

Families and friends just need to prepare the turkey and then leave everything else to Nana Gretchen and Nika Shoemaker-Machado as they prepare their super Soulful Sides featuring their Mac and Cheese ($49.95 per half-pan), Collard Greens ($44.95 per half-pan), Yams ($34.95 per half-pan), family-fave Red Beans and Rice ($39.95 per half-pan), and Black Eyed Peas ($34.95 per half-pan).

Thanksgiving would also not be complete without Georgia’s Restaurant’s delectable “soul-delicious” Desserts including their Whole Peach Cobbler ($27.95 each) and Sweet Potato Pie ($14.95 each).

Mi Piace

Spend this Thanksgiving at Old Town Pasadena’s very own Mi Piace and celebrate with a big Italian family feast or have Mi Piace prepare this festive meal to be enjoyed at home with loved ones.

Guests can also venture to try Chef Saulnier’s Thanksgiving Specials such as the Kurobuta Pork Chops with red rutabagas, spiced apple chutney and balsamic morel glaze; Wild King Salmon with a pomegranate-citrus sauce and apricot basmati rice or guests can enjoy Mi Piace signature items like the Ravioli al Burro, a butternut squash ricotta-filled ravioli with brown butter, sage, and Parmigiano-Reggiano; Grilled Double Lamb Chops prepared with a Port wine demi-glace and roasted Yukon potatoes, or the decadentSpaghetti Aragosta comprised of sautéed diced lobster tail tossed with spaghetti in a San Marzano smokey chipotle cream sauce.

Open Face Food Shop is known for their fresh, healthy, Danish-inspired dishes and this year they are giving “thanks” by offering two very special Thanksgiving Menus ($75 per person) to be enjoyed in the comforts of home.

Executive Chef Lene Houck’s first offering is her Family-Style Traditional Thanksgiving Menu (Serves six-ten people) featuring an Oven Ready Organic Whole Turkey with Sourdough Bread Stuffing made with onion, celery, apricots, and fresh herbs, or her Open Face Favorites Modern Thanksgiving Menu (Two person minimum) showcasing Chef Lene’s Turkey Roulade Stuffed with Apricots & Parsley and Smoked Turkey Leg with Pomegranate Glaze.

The Raymond 1886

The Raymond 1886 is welcoming family and friends into this Historic Craftsman Cottage located in the heart of Pasadena this Thanksgiving where they will be offering a traditional family-style feast featuring new Executive Chef Jonathan Quintana’s Thanksgiving Dinner Menu for Outdoor Patio Dining ($85 per adult, $50 per child ages 12 and under), Takeout or Delivery ($100 Dinner for Two – $200 Dinner for Four). Guests will begin the First Course with a choice of Butternut Squash Soup with pickled pomegranates, toasted pepitas seeds, and aged balsamic vinegar, or the Pear Salad comprised of Boston Bibb lettuce, sunchoke chips, pear chips, candied chestnuts, and a pear and sunchoke vinaigrette.

The Second Course offers a choice between the Mary’s Free-Range Turkey Breast with turkey au jus, pomme purée, haricot verts with roasted peppers and Nueske bacon, apple sage sausage stuffing, and butter rolls; New York Steak with a Bordelaise, mushroom duxelles, pomme purée, haricot verts with roasted peppers and Nueske bacon, served with butter rolls, or the Curry Squash Risotto with braised Brussels sprouts, cranberries, sage and balsamic vinegar.
