You’re Invited! Santa Monica’s Chez Jay Rings in 2020 with Dinner, Bubble, Vino and Fun!

Ring in 2020 at Chez Jay in Santa Monica, the historical restaurant and bar that recently celebrated its 60th Anniversary!

Guests are invited to partake in Chez Jay’s New Year’s Eve Three-Course Prix-Fixe Dinner ($95.00 per person) which includes a Glass of Wine or Champagne to get the celebration started.

Get decked out in New Year’s Eve props provided by Chez Jay before choosing a Starter with selections such as the Tomato Bisque Soup or House Salad. Deciding what to dine on for the last meal of the year can be difficult, and the decision does not get any easier with Entrée options like Chez Jay’s Traditional Steamed Two-Pound Main Lobster, Grilled Australian Rack of Lamb, with rosemary shallots and Madeira sauce; Oven Roasted Angus Prime Rib with au jus and creamy horseradish, or the 10 Ounce Filet Mignon; all served with the choice either fresh vegetables, scalloped potatoes, rice pilaf, or Idaho baked potato.

End the decade on a sweet note with a Dessert such as Chez Jay’s Homemade Cheesecake, Chocolate Chip Cake, or English-Style Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Guests will undoubtedly want to sip one of Chez Jay’s fine Wines such as the 2015 Silver Oak Cabernet, a bottle of Dom Pérignon Champagne, a Draft or Bottled Beer, or any one of Chez Jay’s classic and signature Cocktails.

The ending of the meal does not mean the end of the merriment as Chez Jay is also featuring a Midnight Balloon Drop that will contain special balloons filled with Complimentary Gifts such as Chez Jay Gift Certificates, T-Shirts, Bottle of Champagne, and more! Chez Jay’s Dinner, Drinks, and Midnight Balloon Drop will fill 2020 with excitement, enjoyment, and good cheer!

 

New Year’s Day

Welcome to a new decade! If guests partied a little too hardy on New Year’s Eve, recovery will definitely be on the agenda for New Year’s Day.

Head back to Chez Jay and bounce back with the Bloody Good Bloody Mary, made with long-time Chez Jay Bartender Petter Wickerman’s very own Wickie’s Bloody Good Bloody Mary Mix.

The creation of this special Bloody Mary began over 20 years ago when Wickerman first began bartending at Chez Jay and set out to create a classic cocktail that guests would enjoy and come back for over and over again. After years of testing and trying, Wickie’s Bloody Good Bloody Mary Mix was born!

Wickerman’s handcrafted mix is made up of 11 ingredients including freshly ground red hot chili peppers, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, lemon juice, black and white pepper, celery salt, and more.

Every Bloody Good Bloody Mary at Chez Jay is prepared with vodka, Wickerman’s mix, and garnished with olives, a slice of lemon and lime, and a celery salt rim.

New Year’s Day is also National Bloody Mary Day and the Bloody Good Bloody Mary will be offered for $10.00 all-day long,

So, go west to get right on New Year’s Day at Chez Jay by sipping their famous Bloody Good Bloody Mary and starting off 2020 just right!
