The Hollywood Bowl will present live-to-picture performances of the “The Nightmare Before Christmas” the Tim Burton movie October 26 and 27 in Los Angeles. Danny Elfman, who voiced the role of Jack Skellington, will lead a cast featuring fellow co-stars Catherine O’Hara as Sally, theatre veteran Ken Page as Oogie Boogie, and more guest artists to be announced.
Hollywood Bowl Orchestra Founding Director John Mauceri will conduct the event, produced in association with Disney Concerts.
“We’re so thrilled to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the film with an extraordinary concert experience mixing film, live music, singers, and fully immersive digital projections that can only be experienced live,” said producers Richard Kraft and Laura Engel in a statement.
