From Vera Wang to the Vineyards of Israel: Curated Luxe Wines for Rosh Hashanah 2025

As Rosh Hashanah 2025 approaches, luxury wine enthusiasts from Los Angeles to Berlin are preparing to celebrate the Jewish New Year with more than just a festive toast. This year, Royal Wine Corp., the world’s largest producer, importer, and exporter of kosher wines, is unveiling a collection that pairs ancient heritage with global sophistication. From the volcanic soils of Israel’s Golan Heights to the refined vineyards of Provence, these selections elevate the holiday beyond tradition into the realm of curated indulgence.

“There is something profoundly special about celebrating Rosh Hashanah with wines from Israel,”

Gabriel Geller

Director of Public Relations & Manager of Wine Education at Royal Wine Corp

“They come from the very land where our traditions began. Beyond their spiritual resonance, these wines are now recognized internationally for their quality, character, and complexity.”

Israel’s Finest Tradition Meets World-Class Craftsmanship

This year’s Rosh Hashanah centerpiece is a lineup of standout Israeli wines that blend biblical roots with modern winemaking artistry.

  • Odem Mountain Winery – Israel’s northernmost producer, crafting award-winning vintages in the Golan Heights.

  • Pinto Winery – The southernmost vineyard in the Negev Desert, producing bold, elegant wines under New York-born winemaker Ya’acov Oryah.

  • Or Haganuz – Orot Petit Verdot – An Upper Galilee release ($75) celebrated for its intensity and balance.

  • Chateau Golan – Naveh Label – Known for Grenache Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon ($55–$95), grown in volcanic soils near the Syrian border.

  • Kamisa Winery – Winemaker Yehuda Kamisa delivers expressive wines from $25 to $235, including the $65 Pi Blanc dessert wine.

  • Shiloh Winery – Legend Series – Three blends—Adino, Ittai, and Ira—honor biblical “Heroes of David” with premium craftsmanship ($48).

These labels, along with heritage producers like Carmel, Zion, Psagot, and Domaine du Castel, demonstrate Israel’s growing presence on the global wine stage.

Expanding the Rosh Hashanah Table Beyond Israel

While Israeli wines shine brightest this year, Royal Wine Corp. also brings prestige labels from Italy, California, and France to the holiday table.

Italy
From boutique estates like Terra di Seta and Cantina Giuliano to household names such as Rocca delle Macie (Chianti Classico, $25) and Negretti Cascina Minot (Langhe Nebbiolo, $35), Italy’s kosher offerings are stronger than ever. The newly launched Lovatelli Gavi ($20) adds a crisp, dry white to the mix.

California
The Herzog family’s Herzog Wine Cellars continues to impress, from the accessible $10 Baron Herzog Chenin Blanc to the $300 Yesod flagship. Boutique producers such as Covenant, Marciano Estate, and Hagafen Cellars add depth, while newcomer Capio Wines, by Napa star Russell Bevan, brings limited-edition luxury bottlings priced between $150 and $250.

France
Royal’s French portfolio features J. de Villebois Pinot Noir ($25), Bordeaux’s Chateau des Arnauds ($15), and Burgundy’s kosher debut from Arnaud Baillot ($60–$150). A standout is the Vera Wang Rosé collaboration with Château Roubine—two organic, kosher rosés from Provence and the Mediterranean ($22–$25). “It is Vera’s endorsement of their quality and taste, which are in symbiose with her uncompromising standards,” the release notes.

The Symbolism and Sensory Pleasure of Rosh Hashanah Wines

Wine is not simply a beverage in Jewish tradition—it is a symbol of joy, sanctity, and blessing. Paired with sweet dishes, it becomes a sensory expression of the hope for a sweet new year.

“No matter your traditions, wine has a way of bringing people together,”

Geller

By bringing together Israel’s biblical terroirs with some of the most respected names in global wine, Royal Wine Corp. is curating not just a list, but an experience. For collectors, it’s an opportunity to add rare and meaningful bottles to their cellars. For celebrants, it’s a chance to connect with tradition through a modern, luxurious lens.

A Toast to Heritage and Modern Elegance

From Vera Wang’s haute couture labels to the rugged beauty of Israel’s vineyards, Royal Wine Corp. has created a Rosh Hashanah 2025 wine portfolio that speaks to both history and high taste. Whether enjoyed in a Manhattan penthouse, a Berlin loft, or a coastal villa in Miami Beach, these wines invite you to toast the Jewish New Year with beauty, flavor, and meaning. Here’s to joy, blessings, and a sweet year ahead.

Elizabeth Delphin loves a good time! A fun concert, a good dinner out with friends, those weird artsy-fartsy festivals. If she's not at the office or at home, she's likely walking her dog Milo at Runyon Canyon (seriously, sometimes she goes 2-3 times a day).
