The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) today announced its nominees for 2018’s best movies and television shows ahead of January’s 76th Golden Globe Awards.
Leading the nominations this year is Vice, the Christian Bale-fronted flick about Dick Cheney which clocked six nods, including Best Motion Picture and Best Director for Adam McKay. Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut, A Star Is Born, scored five nominations, as did The Favourite and Green Book.
Nominations were selected by the roughly 90 members of the HFPA, a Los Angeles-based group of journalists. New to the show this year: A special achievement award to honor TV’s biggest names and brightest talents for outstanding accomplishments.
