She\u2019s flanked by stoic bodyguard Damien (Shane West), who ultimately emerges from the shadows as her rival when she\u2019s about to carry out a money-spinning hit at a target\u2019s home and realizes she\u2019s not the only one with murder in mind.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u201cWe\u2019re honored that The Soul Trader <\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>i<\/strong><strong>s chosen as part of <\/strong><strong>Boise Film Festival&#8217;s debut year. <\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Boise has an incredible team with Founders Christine and Mark Holder and the esteemed jury.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>I want to keep sharing this story with audiences everywhere\u201d <\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Director \/ Producer Susan Dynner<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The short film launched at the <strong>Cannes Film Festival\u2019s American Pavilion<\/strong> in May and has been gaining momentum ever since.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s won awards at the <strong>Manhattan Film Festival<\/strong> in NYC, <strong>Rock The Shorts<\/strong> in Beverly Hills and more.\u00a0 Screening to full audiences at festivals including <strong>DC Shorts<\/strong> in Washington, DC, one of the country&#8217;s largest short film festivals, and acclaimed <strong>Calabasas Film Festival <\/strong>in Los Angeles.
