The Vice Five Orange Wine Portfolio includes:<\/p>\nOrange of Gewurztraminer “Brooklynites 5.0”, Los Carneros, 2022<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nOrange of Gewurztraminer “Brooklynites 5.0”, Los Carneros, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\nNicknamed “Brooklynites 5.0” to honor its initial popularity in the Brooklyn market, The Orange of Gew\u00fcrztraminer 2022 was skin fermented in stainless steel<\/strong> tanks under controlled cold temperature with fermentation stopped before it was fully complete to leave a slight residual sugar<\/strong> in the wine, making it perhaps the most \u201ccrushable\u201d orange wine ever made.<\/p>\nThe wine is flamboyant with aromas of roses and lychee<\/strong>, so much so that it is nearly impossible not to put your lips on the rim of the glass and let your tongue twist for a few. 13.7% Alc. SRP: $35.00.<\/p>\nOrange of Viognier, “Pickleball”, Oak Knoll District, 2022\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nOrange of Viognier, “Pickleball”, Oak Knoll District, 2022\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Orange of Viognier, nicknamed \u201cPickle Ball\u201d as a nod to the growing trend of the sports likening to the growing trend of Orange Wine, was skin fermented in neutral French oak<\/strong> barrels, racked once and then transferred back in oak barrels for 14 months of aging<\/strong>.<\/p>\nBottled unfiltered and un-fined with no sulfites added<\/strong>, this Orange wine exudes settled aromas and flavors of peach, apricot, and almonds. 13.7% Alc. SRP: $38.00.<\/p>\nOrange of Sauvignon Blanc, “Sierra”, 2023, Los Carneros, 2023\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nOrange of Sauvignon Blanc, “Sierra”, 2023, Los Carneros, 2023\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Orange of Sauvignon Blanc \u201cSierra\u201d was skin fermented to complete dryness in concrete eggs<\/strong> and was bottled immediately as is.<\/p>\nFans of the varietal have a little surprise waiting for them\u2026 Full body with a bit of funk<\/strong> that hits the palate like a tropical storm and leaves behind a zingy after-taste that is so true to the varietal. 13.4% Alc. SRP: $36.00<\/p>\nOrange of Albarino, “Sevilla”, California, 2023<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nOrange of Albarino, “Sevilla”, California, 2023<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Orange of Albari\u00f1o \u201cSevilla\u201d was skin fermented in its harvest macro-bins, full cluster<\/strong>, and was gently stomped daily until there was no residual sugar left in the wine.<\/p>\nIt was then racked into a stainless steel tank barrels<\/strong> and bottled as is without filtration or sulfites addition.<\/p>\nCurrently sporting nectarine, candied ginger, and honeydew expect a floral character<\/strong> to shine through with a little age if it\u2019s not gone before the end of summer. SRP: $38.00<\/p>\nOrange of Chardonnay, “Las Amigas”, Los Carneros, 2023\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nOrange of Chardonnay, “Las Amigas”, Los Carneros, 2023\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Orange of Chardonnay \u201cLas Amigas\u201d was skin fermented in French oak barrels<\/strong> and purposely \u201cforgotten” until bottling.<\/p>\nThis Orange wine was set in its skins for 4 months and was never racked<\/strong> before bottling, and was bottled without any addition of sulfites. This Orange is doomed to divide and conquer— leaving some very much in love with the style and others with a \u201cnutty\u201d taste in their mouths. Double IPA and sour beer fans please beware, we made so little of this wine for it not to become your nouveau vice. 12.8% Alc.
