Big scores and Refined sips at Mendocino’s Third Annual 2021 International Canned Wine Competition Awards.<\/em><\/p>\n

Over three hundred canned wines<\/strong> from all over the world flexed their aluminum muscles at the<\/p>\n

Which was held July 20-22<\/span>\u00a0at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds<\/strong> in\u00a0Boonville, California<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Wines from seventeen countries<\/strong>, including France<\/span>,\u00a0Italy<\/span>,\u00a0Spain<\/span>,\u00a0Argentina<\/span>,\u00a0Australia<\/span>,\u00a0New Zealand<\/span>,\u00a0England<\/span>\u00a0and even\u00a0India<\/span>, competed with their compatriots from all corners of\u00a0the United States<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Noticeable in 2021:<\/p>\n

“an explosion of wine-based spritzers and seltzers”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

according to competition founder and organizer,\u00a0Allan Green<\/span><\/strong>. Judges awarded gold medals to 85 of the 335 wines entered.<\/p>\n
