The Greek Theatre<\/strong> announces that its 2020 season is cancelled<\/strong> in compliance with state, county and city guidelines in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n \u201cAlthough we had hoped to celebrate our 90th Anniversary Season<\/p>\n of providing live entertainment for the citizens of Los Angeles…”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n …we feel it is the right, responsible and safe thing for fans, artists, staff and our Griffith Park community to put a pause on live, large crowd events until 2021,\u201d AP Diaz, Los Angeles Recreation and Parks executive officer, said in a statement.<\/p>\n According to the statement, the venue is using the time to \u201crefresh and reset\u201d and reschedule any previously planned events. Updates will be posted on the venue\u2019s website.<\/p>\n This is the first time in 90 years that The Greek Theatre has canceled its season.<\/p>\n
