The entire show will be produced remotely as the show, along with all other TV programs, practices social distancing.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, sketches involving multiple performers and\/or extensive character hair and makeup are hard to pull off with social distancing.<\/p>\n<p>However,\u00a0<em>Weekend Update<\/em>, hosted by <strong>Colin Jost<\/strong> and <strong>Michael Che<\/strong>, has been considered a strong contender to return on the air after late-night talk shows.<\/p>\n<h3>It has been a difficult time for Che who revealed that his grandmother\u00a0has died from the\u00a0coronavirus.<\/h3>\n<p><strong> NBC\u2019s\u00a0<em>The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong><em>Late Night with Seth Meyers<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0have both successfully returned.
