South by Southwest (SXSW)<\/strong> announced the features, episodic premieres, and Opening Night Film for their\u00a027th edition<\/strong>\u00a0of the\u00a0SXSW Film Festival<\/strong><\/a>, running\u00a0March 13-21, 2020<\/strong>\u00a0in Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n

Every year, the acclaimed program draws thousands of fans, filmmakers, press, and industry leaders to immerse themselves in the most innovative, smart, and entertaining new films of the year.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0102<\/strong>\u00a0features and episodics in this release will be shown across nine days of SXSW, with dozens of additional titles to be announced\u00a0February 5<\/strong>. The complete SXSW Film Festival program typically includes\u00a0more than 250 total projects<\/strong>. The 2020 program was selected from\u00a02,316<\/strong>\u00a0feature-length film submissions, with a total of\u00a08,362<\/strong>\u00a0films submitted this year.<\/p>\n
