The Santa Clarita Valley<\/strong>, just 45 minutes north of LAX<\/strong>, had been known as Awesometown for many years and for many reasons. Home to several family-run restaurants<\/strong>, bars<\/strong>, wine bars,\u00a0<\/strong>and wineries<\/strong>, guests come from both near and far enjoy this valley for some fun.<\/p>\n

Reaching out to a broad selection of local establishments this is what we\u2019ve learned is happening – just an Uber or Lyft away \u2013 between now and January 1st.<\/p>\n

Double Trouble Wine Room<\/h2>\n

This wine bar is the So Cal home of the burgeoning \u201c Garagiste\u201d micro-winery movement<\/strong>. Taste high-scoring, ultra-premium artisan wines from Paso Robles<\/strong>, Santa Ynez<\/strong>, and Sonoma<\/strong> from two local wineries – Hoi Polloi Winery<\/strong> and Pagter Brothers Winery<\/strong> – in Old Town Newhall. Spacious patio and live music most weekends. Occasional food trucks visiting. People can bring in food or order in. No snobs allowed.<\/p>\n
