Certainly, many celebrities who have used their platforms to help the people in need and they are passionate about it. The charities made by these popular names motivates others to help others. Although we may not be able to donate a million dollars, we can still involved in our own ways with our philanthropic research.<\/p>\n

Here is the list of 7 philanthropists who are helping many charitable causes which are really appreciated:<\/strong><\/p>\n

#1: Oprah Winfrey<\/strong><\/p>\n

She is one of the popular stars who got recognition for dedicating her energy, time and money into end number of organizations and charities. The National Child Protection Act is one of them that has established as a National database of convicted child abusers and also known as \u201cOprah Bill.\u201d Winfrey has donated millions of dollars to many charities like Project Cuddle, Mississippi Animal Rescue and more. However, she often donates money to a few organizations that are close to her heart. The top three names here are- The Oprah Winfrey Operating Foundation, The Oprah Winfrey Foundation, and The Angel Network.<\/p>\n

#2: John Legend<\/strong><\/p>\n

He is a well-known celebrity activist who was known for his Show Me Campaign for children access to good and quality education. He is also associated with Millennium Promise Alliance that serve African village and also with FREE AMERICA, which is a multi-year culture campaign that aims to transform the criminal justice system in America.<\/p>\n

You have a moral responsibility when you’ve been given far more than you need, to do wise things with it and give intelligently,” Rowling<\/p>\n

She came into limelight when she made billionaire list on Forbes. She dropped the list after donating $160 million in many charitable donations. Well-known as the Harry Potter writer, she supports various causes with her Volant and charitable trust. She is also the president and founder of the International children\u2019s non-profit organizations Lumos. It works to demolish the institutionalization of children across the world and make sure that all children grow in a caring and safe environment.<\/p>\n

#4. Beyonce<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also known as Queen B, Beyonce continues to set an example everywhere. She is working on many charitable causes and charities like Survivor Foundation that she co-founder with one of her best friends Kelly Rowland, who is a former Destiny\u2019s Child singer. Along with this, she has also made donations through Beygood Foundations. She wastes no time in any landing a hand kind of thing. Recently, she declared her Formation Scholars program that is for supporting and encouraging young creative women.<\/p>\n

#5. Chance the Rapper<\/strong><\/p>\n

This Grammy winner has become a role model for the change in his hometown in Chicago. To support arts in the public school system, he also launched the New Chance Arts & Literature fund. To his previously co-founded SocialWorks, he raised more than @2 million for Chicago Public School for empowering youth. For his efforts, he was also awarded the 2017 BET Humanitarian Award by Michelle Obama.<\/p>\n

#6. Angelina Jolie<\/strong><\/p>\n

She is one of the most popular celebs who is known as an A-lister to donate a huge sum to causes. She has created Jolie-Pitt Foundation in 2006 which was made to help humanitarian efforts across the globe. In 2012, she was also appointed as Special Envoy to the U.N High Commissioner for Refugees.<\/p>\n

#7. Emma Watson<\/strong><\/p>\n

Member of the HeForShe Campaign and the Women Goodwill Ambassador of the U.N she has been an active member of her charitable efforts. She has donated around $1.4 million to the U.L Justice and Equality Fund this year and anti-sexual harassment campaign. She writes an open letter in which she said,<\/p>\n
