Walt Disney Records recently released\u00a0Disney’s\u00a0Christopher Robin<\/span>\u00a0<\/i>Original Motion Picture digital soundtrack on August 3.\u00a0 The score features music by Emmy\u00ae Award-winning\u00a0Geoff Zanelli<\/span>\u00a0(“Into the West,” “Pirates of the\u00a0Caribbean<\/span>: Dead Men Tell No Tales”) and Grammy\u00ae-nominated composer\u00a0Jon Brion<\/span>\u00a0(“Lady Bird<\/span>,” “Trainwreck”).<\/p>\n Disney legend\u00a0Richard M. Sherman<\/span>\u00a0wrote both the music and lyrics for the three new songs which appear in the film. The song “Goodbye, Farewell,” which is performed by Winnie the Pooh and friends from the Hundred Acre Wood, can be heard\u00a0in the opening scene.\u00a0“Busy Doing Nothing” and “Christopher Robin<\/span>” are both performed by\u00a0Richard Sherman<\/span>\u00a0himself and appear in the end credits.<\/p>\n “Winnie the Pooh became a dear friend of mine when Walt gave us the assignment to write songs for the first Winnie the Pooh short film,” says Sherman, “and here, so many years later, it is very special to be back in the Hundred Acre Wood again.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n The lyric video for “Goodbye, Farewell” featuring Winnie the Pooh and friends can be viewed\u00a0HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n The two-time Oscar\u00ae winning composer and his late brother,\u00a0Robert B. Sherman<\/span>, who passed away in 2012, wrote the music and lyrics for the majority of the animated films featuring Winnie the Pooh and his friends distributed by Disney (“Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree,” “Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day” and “Winnie the Pooh and\u00a0Tigger Too<\/span>,” among numerous others).
