The Female Quotient, a company and community dedicated to accomplishing workplace equality, recently announced that it will bring its signature event, The Girls’ Lounge, to the\u00a0Cannes<\/span>\u00a0Film Festival for the first time. Held at the Majestic 71 Beach in\u00a0Cannes, France<\/span>, The Girls’ Lounge venue designed and produced by the Agency A.D.R. will be open daily from\u00a010 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/span>\u00a0May 8 through May 19<\/span>.<\/p>\n

“With movements like Me Too and Time’s Up shining a spotlight on the issue of equality\u2014particularly in the entertainment industry\u2014we felt that this pivotal moment was the right time to bring The Girls’ Lounge to\u00a0Cannes<\/span>,” said\u00a0Shelley Zalis<\/span>, CEO, The Female Quotient<\/b>. “We are thrilled to bring the Girls’ Lounge to the\u00a0Cannes<\/span>\u00a0Film Festival and partner with TheWrap and A.D.R. to drive conversations that will effect lasting change in the film community and beyond.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
