Apple unveiled an updated version of its iPad today at its education event in Chicago, touting a discounted price for schools.

The new 9.7-inch iPad now supports the Apple Pencil (aka: a stylus) and boasts a vivid Retina display, advanced cameras and a speedier microprocessor. Perhaps most eye-catching is the price: $329 for consumers and $299 for students. The digital pencil is sold separately for $99, with a $10 discount for pupils.

“This new 9.7-inch iPad takes everything people love about our most popular iPad and makes it even better for inspiring creativity and learning,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s VP product marketing.
