Turns out I met Larry Schaffer previously, so was interested in learning what this former Fess Parker enologist was up to. Well, he is a Rhone Ranger to start, but also interested in Spanish, French and other areas.

We began with a Mouvedre Rose, 12.1% alcohol, which I thought showed strong colors. Wine was somewhat tannic, medium body, not complex, with a long finish.
His 2016 Cinsault, 12.5% alcohol was a bright red color with a big nose of fruit, medium body, good mouth feel, long finish. Enjoy with crabmeat.
2016 Verbiage Rouge, strong nose, bright color, good balance, a complicated wine, good on the palette with a long finish.
