GOAT, the leading digital sneaker marketplace, today announced the debut of its 150+ page, editorial lifestyle publication, Greatest. The print magazine will showcase stories about people who, in their own way, exemplify what it means to be the greatest.
Greatest will reflect the unique perspective of the global sneaker community and feature the personal stories of creatives and industry veterans who are at the forefront of fashion, art, music, design, entrepreneurship and beyond. Greatest aims to inspire readers to love what they do, build for tomorrow, and stay true to themselves.
“With Greatest, we wanted to capture the industry’s sense of community, while bringing together the spectrum of people who are inspired by sneakers,” said Sen Sugano, VP of Marketing at GOAT. “When we came up with the concept of a magazine, it wasn’t necessarily about sneakers, but the unique stories behind the individuals who wear them.”
The premiere issue of Greatest includes interviews with Fear of God’s Jerry Lorenzo, Reddit’s Alexis Ohanian, Jason Markk, Dominic ‘The Shoe Surgeon’ Chambrone, Ja Tecson, Mateo Berry, Janae Roubleau, Juice Gee (U.K.), Ashton Gohil (U.K.), Remi Ishizuka and more.
Greatest will be published bi-annually, with print distribution in Tokyo (GR8, monkey time), Los Angeles (UNION, Commonwealth, Jason Markk), Boston (CONCEPTS), New York (CONCEPTS, Patron of the New), Philadelphia (UBIQ) and Miami (UNKNWN), with more retailers to be announced. Content will also be shared on goat.com and Instagram at @greatest.
