The Dreamer Jackson Browne

Singer Songwriter Jackson Browne has recently released a new video. The Dreamer (featuring Los Cenzontles) is released on Inside Recordings and distributed globally thru Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA).

In addition, The Dreamer was written by Jackson Browne and Eugene Rodriguez of Los Cenzontles, and performed by Jackson, Los Cenzontles and David Hidalgo (Los Lobos).

As for the video, it was directed by Mark Kohr(Green Day, No Doubt, Primus, Shakira).

Los Cenzontles (The Mockingbirds) is a Mexican American roots band, as well as a non-profit cultural arts academy in the San Francisco East Bay Area.

The actual song, “The Dreamer,” studies the subject of Dreamers, those protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), which was developed by executive order in 2012 by the President Barack Obama.

Earlier in 2017, the Trump administration announced it will end DACA, which affects as many as 800,000 people living in the United States, and gave Congress the opportunity to pass legislation on the issue by March 5, 2018.
