Roberto Coin has been an icon in the jewelry industry for more than 30 years. His designs include his signature Appassionata Collection, the new Pois Moi Collection, and the Roberto Coin Cento Diamond Collection.  The Venetian jewelry designer’s collection is available in Roberto Coin boutiques and over 400 stores specialty nationwide.

Coin has devoted his life to a passion for innovative design. Finding inspiration in the most unlikely of places, he is truly an artisan at work. Experimenting with light, texture, color and pattern, Coin’s style is ever-evolving. His diverse collection, designed to fit every woman, is defined by a common thread – a thoughtful balance of elegance and creativity. Included in every piece of Roberto Coin jewelry is his signature ruby, symbolizing peace, prosperity and happiness.

Peter Webster was born in England and was educated at the Harrow and Cambridge University, where he earned a master’s degree in Law and Economics.  Webster’s true passions were cricket and rugby but would turn to the world of business by joining Coopers and Lybrand as a CPA. He worked with many in the diamond industry and began a career in the jewelry industry where he met his future business partner Roberto Coin.

In 1977, the company was started in Vicenza.  Together, Webster and Coin developed the business into a highly successful operation as a jewelry manufacturer and wholesaler selling to the volume market throughout Europe.  When the two sold a portion of the business to their major client in England, the floodgates opened, allowing Webster and Coin the creative freedom they had always desired.

Currently, Roberto Coin operates 16 boutiques in premier destinations throughout the world and can be found in over 1,000 stores worldwide in over 60 countries.
