Thomas Cook Airlines now with the new Airbus A321 for Summer Travel

As the warm summer season approaches, Thomas Cook Airlines has announced that its family is now one up with the arrival of the new Airbus A321.

Thomas Cook AirlineCustomized and prepared in Sunny Heart livery, the aircraft has been properly water cannon saluted on its departure form Stansted to Antalya, Turkey.

It is great news for our customers departing from London Stansted Airport this summer as we celebrate the addition of one of our new aircraft as we grow our presence at the airport.

“With more flights, more holidays and a more frequent service to the most popular resorts, those holidaymakers in the east and south-east of England looking to travel to more destinations from their local airport can now experience our brand new aircraft and increased comfort during their flight.” – Christoph Debus, Thomas Cook Airline chief executive

During a conference in 2013, Thomas Cook Airlines has announced that as of June 2014 it will be operating two planes from Stansted with service from Airbus A321 rather than the old A320. Being the bigger brother, A321 allows for a broader range of destinations.

“Thomas Cook Airlines are a very important partner at Stansted Airport and the introduction of the new larger A321 aircraft into service and launch of eight new routes is fantastic news for passengers across London, eastern Region and wider south-east.

“Equally exciting is recent news that long-haul flights to Orlando, Cancun and Las Vegas will be introdu
ced by the airline next year.

“Thomas Cook Airlines clearly recognise the untapped potential at Stansted and we look forward to giving them our full support as they grow their route network here.” – Andrew Harrison, Stansted Airport managing director

Among the new destinations added to the Thomas Cook Airlines portfolio via Stansted travelers will get to visit Corfu, Izmir, Kos, Rhodes, Skiathos, Fuerteventura, Heraklion and Kefalonia.
