Plate-by-plate-tastingOn Saturday August 3, Project By Project LA hosts Plate by Plate for its 11th year.  More than 50 of Southern California’s finest restaurants and beverage purveyors will set their table at Vibiana in Downtown LA. Purchase tickets here.

Certain to be exciting news for foodies, culinary adventurers and those with a curious palate ready to tempt their taste buds. Some LA all-stars are serving up their finest dishes for these discerning diners.  Tastings from: Bestia, Paiche, Picca, Allumette, Chaya, Rivera and Little Bear.

The evening’s offerings are split between restaurants, desserts and drinks.  To name just a few: 9021Pho, Church and State, Lexington Social House, Patina, Ramekin, Joto Sake, Ketel One, Off The Vine, and Ventura Limoncello.

Every year, Project by Project selects a non-profit partner based on a theme or issue that addresses current needs in the Asian American community.   This year, Project by Project LA is partnering up with East West Players. Established in 1965, East West Players is known as “the nation’s pre-eminent Asian American theater troupe” by New York Times. EWP has produced award winning Asian American plays and musicals for over 40 years and provides classes and arts education for both adults and youth. East West Players alumni include Mako, B.D. Wong, David Henry Hwang and John Cho to name a few.
