Las Vegas, the wait is over. Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band return to Fin City for two nights only at MGM Grand Garden Arena, beginning Saturday, October 19 at 8pm and the following Saturday, October 26 at 8pm, as part of
Jimmy Buffett’s “Songs From St. Somewhere” Tour 2013. Tickets will go on sale to the public Monday, May 20 at 10am. Local Parrotheads won’t want to miss their chance to soak in the full Margaritaville experience.
“We are thrilled to have Jimmy Buffett back at the MGM Grand Garden Arena here in Las Vegas, where he has played to capacity crowds every night, year after year,” said Richard Sturm, President of MGM Resorts International Entertainment and Sports.
“Jimmy Buffett’s famous live show and Las Vegas are both synonymous with fun, excitement and revelry. What a perfect setting for Parrotheads to enjoy Margaritaville,” said Greg Siegel, Senior Vice President of Booking, Live Nation/Southern California.
Jimmy will be going back into the studio soon to record a new album, tentatively titled Songs from St. Somewhere, to be released on Mailboat Records. Last summer Jimmy released a new CD/DVD on Mailboat Records called Welcome To Fin City, which was recorded at two previous Las Vegas concerts. Both the CD/DVD and the Blu-Ray/CD contains 14 songs and 15 videos which includes the previously unreleased bonus video of “Elvis Presley Blues.” Also now available on iTunes is a live video of Jimmy Buffett and Lionel Richie singing the hit “All Night Long” which was recorded in 2012 at Comerica Park in Detroit.
