PREVIEW: ‘ComedyJuice All-Stars’ Live Album, feat’s Buress, Gleib and more funny!

Hollywood stand-up institution Comedy Juice launches its first-ever live album tonight Wednesday August 1 at the Improv in Hollywood CA featuring Ben Gleib, Dov Davidoff, Hannibal Buress.

For the past 10 years, comedy fans have been rolling out to venues around the country to watch Comedy Juice, considered by many to be the best stand-up show in the country.  Now, teaming with “Stand Up! Records,” they are releasing their first live stand-up album recorded at the Hollywood Improv, titled Comedy Juice All-Stars.

Comedy Juice is one of the top live comedy brands in the world, producing hundreds of All-Star stand-up events each year. Comedy Juice began in 2002 as a weekly show at The Laugh Factory in Hollywood. Since then, it has expanded with regular shows on both coasts, most nights of the week.

Comedy Juice has had almost every major American comedian in one of its lineups. Iliza Shlesinger once said, “I had to win Last Comic Standing to get a spot on Comedy Juice.”  When Dave Chappelle famously disappeared to Africa, he reemerged from his hiatus on Comedy Juice at the Hollywood Improv, and the story made global news. ComedyJuice has had a special aura around it ever since. It has become THE SHOW on which comedians hope to one day be booked.

Now Comedy Juice has decided to share the laughs with the world, in audio form, with “ComedyJuice All-Stars: Volume 1“. They are celebrating this CD Release on Wednesday, August 1, 2012.
