2010 Lakers Parade – For the love of Lakers

If you are a die-hard Lakers fan, then you would have been expected to wave your banner at the 2010 Lakers parade that took place earlier this week. Hundreds of thousands fans showed up to show their support and appreciation to the team.

On a flatbed 18-wheeler, Kobe Bryant, Ron Artest, Andrew Bynum, Derek Fisher, Lamar Odom, Shannon Brown and Pau Gasol waved to thousands of fans from Staples Center all the way to USC. This years parade did not report many arrests and fights like last year, simply because the fans and the players were all in joyous mode. Even if you’re not a Lakers fan, the parade was a must just to experience the passion the Los Angeles residents have for their team L.A Lakers.

This being Ron Artest first winning championship, he has managed to stay in touch with his fans through Jimmy  Kimmel, Chelsea Lately and of course Twitter (where he announced ways to get tickets to the live show). If you missed any of this and still want a glance at Artest, he  will be at Millions of Milkshake at the Westfield Culver City mall on Friday (June 25th) at 6 p.m. See you there!
