Enjoy the ocean breeze and a perfect SoCal sunset as 1212 Santa Monica hosts MasterChef Season 6 runner-up Chef Derrick Fox for a delectable one-night only, limited seating event featuring a Five-Course Pop-Up Dinner and optional Wine Pairing curated by DAOU Vineyards on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 at 7:30 pm!

 

After a successful run as a professional drummer, Chef Derrick Fox decided to trade his drumsticks for a chef knife when he pursued another dream and submitted for a chance to compete on the world’s biggest cooking competition, MasterChef. Week after week, not only was Fox the “fan favorite”, but he proved that his artistic cuisine, risk-taking and dynamic personality would lead to a huge career in the culinary world. After completing MasterChef Season 6 as runner-up, Fox traveled across the United States doing personal appearances, judging cooking competitions, as well as cooking at recognized culinary events and for high-profile clients. Chef Fox’s upcoming Five-Course Pop-Up Dinner at 1212 Santa Monica will offer guests the opportunity to enjoy five delicious and visually stunning dishes, as his food is a fusion of his unique journey inspired by childhood memories, his MasterChef experiences, and his travels, all to bring his guests a true taste of the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle.
