International dining hit Yardbird Southern Table & Bar is up and running at the Beverly Center, following the multi-story property’s years-long planned construction and design overhaul. The restaurant debuted over the weekend, and is already keeping daily lunch through dinner hours.

Yardbird owner John Kunkel has already established the restaurant mini-chain in cities far and wide, ranging from Miami, Las Vegas, and Singapore to the heart of Los Angeles proper. This new location will play many of the hits from the other restaurants, including steaks, egg-centric brunch dishes, and classic fried chicken. The full bar will focus mostly on whiskey and bourbon alongside craft beer, while James Beard-finalist pastry chef Hedy Goldsmith runs dessert.

As for the space, expect an expansive 6,000 square feet of room complete with tall ceilings and both fully private and semi-private dining. There’s a leafy patio out front as well, plus an open kitchen to catch all the action. The dining room itself is wonderfully rustic with lots of wood, painted brick, ironwork, and jars of preserved fruits as decor.

Yardbird is officially open at the Beverly Center, keeping daily hours from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with an opening on Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. for brunch.
