This March, try a new spin class, go shopping at your favorite boutique store or grab an amazing cup of coffee.
Some proceeds will go to your local children’s hospital.
Here are five ways you can treat yo self, and at the same time support the businesses that support Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to Make March Matter.
1. FEEL THE BURN.
Kickstart your exercise regimen at Orangetheory in Sherman Oaks on March 24 at a group charity class, while an Orangetheory coach pushes you to get your best workout. Orangetheory is for everyone, so if you dropped the ball on your New Year’s goals, you can pick it up again at Orangetheory.
2. SHAKE IT UP.
If you would rather enjoy a good meal, check out the Shake Shack, they’re a second-year supporter of CHLA, will donate a percentage of the entire day’s sales from the West Hollywood location, 8520 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069, on March 19. Grab a burger, fries and a malt, or if you’re a vegetarian, we hear the ‘Shroom Burger is fab. Make your stomach happy and help make kids happy as they get healthier at CHLA.
3. SHOP IT LIKE IT’S HOT.
Participate in Caudalie’s shopping event in Venice on March 8 and Theory’s shopping event on March 31 on Melrose. At both events, you’ll be treated with a VIP experience while you check out Caudalie’s beauty lineup or Theory’s latest spring line. Either way, know that if you treat yourself to some goods, you’re also treating the kids at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles since proceeds will be benefiting the kids.
4. CATCH A KINGS HOCKEY OR GALAXY SOCCER GAME.
Buy tickets for any L.A. Kings home game in March, or the L.A. Galaxy’s home opener on March 4, and proceeds from your ticket purchase will go back to CHLA. Whether you’re a fan of hockey or soccer, gather up your friends and family and go see a game for a good cause.
5. BUT FIRST, COFFEE.
Throughout March, grab a cup of joe at Alfred Coffee and support Make March Matter. Alfred Coffee will be collecting donations at the registers at all locations. While you’re at it, check out the custom Make March Matter mural at Alfred on Melrose Place, and for each photo taken and posted using #MakeMarchMatter, Alfred Coffee will donate $1. You were going to ‘gram it anyway; now you can do it FOR THE KIDS!
