Neon Trees Annc ‘Pop Psychology’ N. American Headline Tour

NeonTrees-PopPsychologyMulti-platinum group Neon Trees will celebrate the release of their new studio album, Pop Psychology, with a massive North American headline tour. The outing will kick off at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium on May 12 and include performances at The Wiltern in Los Angeles (June 14), The Complex in Salt Lake City (June 16), and New York City’s Central Park Summer Stage (July 7). Smallpools and Nightmare and the Cat will open. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, February 21. See below for itinerary.

Pop Psychology  will be released April 22 on Island Def Jam. The new album continues Neon Trees’ exploration of new wave, smart pop and dance music, resulting in their most refined album to date. The band recorded the collection in Cabo San Lucas, Los Angeles, and Provo with Tim Pagnotta, who also produced their smash hits “Animal” and “Everybody Talks.”

Neon Trees gave the album’s first single, “Sleeping With A Friend,” its network television debut on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

USA Today tapped “Sleeping With A Friend” as the “Song of the Week,” praising it as an “80s-inspired hookfest.”

From Provo, Utah, Neon Trees is Tyler Glenn (lead vocals, keys) Chris Allen (guitars), Branden Campbell (bass), and Elaine Bradley (drums, vocals).
